Simple Life
No more playing outside till the streelights came on
Better be home while you can see the sun
No more walking alone in the park
Bad people jump out of shadows there
No more sleeping with your windows up
The air outside is toxic and white
No more leaving the front door unlocked
Cause your house will be empty when you return
No more candy apples at Halloween
Since when did rice crispy treats come premade
No more helping someone new
Don't stop they may kill you
No more leaving you kids to play
Didn't they find another dead today
Even with teacher on the clock
Sally's only safe if she has her glock
No more sweet 16 and never been kissed
Well settle for 16 and no kids
What ever happened to the simple life
Where growing up didn't cost your life
